Edgewood Center
Historic Rehab – Special Needs – Urban
Located in downtown Atlanta, the 46 unit historic Edgewood Center was developed in 1994 as a single room occupancy housing center for people with HIV/AIDS who are able to live independently. Now ten years old, the Edgewood is highly regarded and frequently honored for its tremendous success in assisting the formerly homeless to stabilize their lives and, often times, move on to higher levels of independence. The success of the property is greatly influenced by the extensive support services provided to residents. Services are coordinated by St. Joseph’s Mercy Care, and supported by a caring professional staff.
